Since 1987\, he has released an impressive 26 albums and remains among the top 10 best-selling African American saxophonists globally\, a title he has held since 1998. His accolades include being named Billboard’s Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year in 2019 and winning the Soul Tracks’ Instrumentalist of the Year award in 2023.
