The “Sip & Mingle” experience is the brainchild of Adrienne, Dr. J. Marc Davis’s mother, whose illustrious career spans roles at both IBM and NASA. With decades of expertise in event promotions and catering, Adrienne adds a unique touch of elegance and sophistication to Sound Merchandise Entertainment’s events. Her vision ensures that each gathering offers not only world-class jazz but also an exceptional social experience, blending fine drinks, great company, and unforgettable performances.

Dr. J. Marc Davis, the visionary behind Sound Merchandise Entertainment, is a local college professor and lifelong musician whose talents span both bass and drums. With a rich history of performing alongside some of the top bands in South Florida and Washington, DC, up and down the eastern seaboard and beyond, Dr. Davis brings decades of professional musical experience to the forefront of his productions.
In collaboration with his daughter, Kelcie Davis—a lifelong, classically trained musician—Dr. Davis combines passion and expertise to curate unforgettable jazz events. Together, they are dedicated to elevating the South Florida jazz scene and sharing their love for music with audiences far and wide.
